Melania Trump dazzled viewers in a baby pink ensemble today when attending an event with husband US President Donald Trump where Kirstjen Nielesen was appointed as US Secretary of Homeland Security.
Melania Trump expressed her femininity by wearing a pastel shift dress which came down to the knee and cinched in at the waist.
She paired the figure-hugging frock with a baby pink coat which she threw over her shoulders.
She completed her look with a pair of nude-colored stiletto heels.
Kirstjen was the White House principal deputy chief of staff before her appointment which was announced on Wednesday.
The White House said Nielsen, who worked for the Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) under George W Bush, had “extensive professional experience in the areas of homeland security policy and strategy, cyber security, critical infrastructure and emergency management”.
Yesterday, Melania shunned her usual glamorous gowns in favor of a pinstripe suit.
The First Lady wore the charcoal grey and white ensemble with a crisp white shirt.
Adding a fashion-forward twist, Melania wore a black skinny tie undone loosely under her collar.
The trousers of the suit, which were oversized, came right down to the ground and mostly covered the black shoes Melania was wearing.
Melania topped the outfit off with a bouncy blow-dry, no doubt to add a feminine edge to her selection.
The First Lady wore the outfit to meet with Sophie Gregoire, Canadian President Justin Trudeau’s wife, at the White House.
The women went for opposing dress senses – but which lady won the inevitable style war?
The Canadian Prime Minister’s wife looked chic in a 60s style A line dress.
The navy blue choice had a large white stripe at the front, and Sophie mirrored Melania with a large bow, the material of which came down over her front.
